The end of the paper trail
We went to Lima June 20-22 to complete our final paperwork to get our "carnet" which is like our green card to make us legal residents of Peru. We took Kevin with us so he could see a bit of the metropolis of Lima. On Sunday afternoon, we spent time getting to know Shaw and Julie Mudge, also new SAMS missionaries, who will be teaching in the seminary in Lima. Interestingly, their 2 older daughters went to Wheaton with Kevin and played in orchestra with him when he was a freshman. Both Shaw and Julie were very involved with both Cursillo and Tres Dias in New York. We look forward to working with them in getting Cursillo started in Peru hopefully sometime next year. Bishop Godfrey has expressed strong support for establishing Cursillo here in Peru.

Shaw and Sandy enjoy some time after a special lunch.
