December 29th Naty joins Laura and usfor a tour to the La Recoleta Monastery,
founded by the Franciscan order in 1648.
The impressive tower can be seen fromseveral vantage points throughout Arequipa.
The library is incredible, with 20,000books, some dating as far back as 1494.
So valuable are these books, visitors are threatened with excommunication if
they were to take one out of the library or copy from one -
