GRADUATION AT SAN LUCAS SCHOOL

December 30th was graduation of the first
high school class at San Lucas School,
an exciting occasion!

The "passing of the flag" from the 5th
year seniors to the 4th year juniors...

and a hearty rendition of the
Peruvian national anthem
(with more verses than
one could count!)

Tamara, Adda, Arelis, and Daniela, all from
the children's homes where we help out
with music lessons and math tutoring.

The kids made us proud as they received
academic recognition from the school...

The first graders treat us all to a
special dance just for this event!

Peruvians love to dance,
and it starts young!
